Job Overview

Cloud System Engineer is responsible mainly for setup and maintenance of cloud solutions (mainly Azure) either for company’s internal usage or for clients. Furthermore, he/she will have an advisory role for customers’ needs in cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Setup and maintain internal systems.
Global Administration on Company’s Tenant Azure Resources and Azure Entra ID.
Act as an aid to the Production team for issues related to server and cloud configurations.
Ensure the implementation of procedures and practices so that the company is compatible with GDPR legislation.
Organize educational programs of his sector for the employees of the company.
Maintain and enrich professional and technical knowledge.
Create knowledgebase material whenever there is a need.
Communicate with MICROSOFT for partnership issues.
Communicate and collaborate with suppliers and partners in his/her field.
Participate in tendering processes: design the architecture solution and estimate costs of the solution.
Provide hosting services to customers and maintain the systems in coordination with the customer.
Provide technical support and consultancy to customers for issues related to server and cloud configurations

Skills and Qualifications

Qualifications

Degree of University, TEI or IEK in Informatics
Experience of at least 5 years in a corresponding position
Good knowledge in:
1. Cloud services (mainly Azure Services, such as VMs, Load Balancers, Security Groups, Application Gateways, VPN etc.)
2. Docker/Kubernetes
3. Virtualization (VMWare Esxi)
4. Servers (Windows/Linux)
5. Internet Information Services (IIS)
6. Microsoft SQL Server
7. DNS basic principles
8. Mail service basic principles
Very good knowledge of English
Experience in Sitecore and/or Umbraco and/or Kentico and/or Solr installation/configuration desirable
Knowledge of GDPR predictions desirable
